I'm about to record a new song but I am trying to get my vocals mixing to sound similar to the link below. I'm not quiet sure what this person used but if someone can help me out it would be great.
and those are the 3/4 things i need to use to get that type of sound? is there any plugins you guys would recommend to get a better sound on my vocals?
A) Control the low end. I can't hear what you've got so I can't possibly tell you how much rolloff to use. Just keep the low end (200Hz or below, maybe filter as low as 100Hz) at bay.
B) Adjust parameters. Presets will get you places but not entirely there. To me it sounds like a single delay very quickly after the dry signal. Possibly some chorusing as well, I used a cheapo headset to listen to it. Keep the effects relatively dry.
