I think it's hard to suggest headphones because we all hear things differently and also FEEL things differently.

Aside from suggesting a SEALED pair (closed, NOT open air design-this will avoid bleed into the mic and increase isolation) I'd say you have to wear them and listen to them yourself. The fit on your head is very important as well.

For that budget there are some good models from AKG, Fostex and others.

$100CDN, thats like $300.00 US right??? Just kidding!!!

The Sennheiser 280Pro is the best bang for the under $100 buck.
Dont bother trying a mix on the Sony 7506, the high end is hyped, great
for tracking, but not mixing.
