OK guys...it was suggested in another topic for a new Interface to look into an M-Audio Audiophile MobilePre USB for my computer.

What about the E-Mu 1820 or 1820m?
Ever since I saw one of these, I've become rather enamored of it...

Now remember...these are just for V-O...no music recording and no simultaneous I/O...but on the other side of that coin, should I be mindful of expanding my project studio for more complicated recording in the future?

Or are there other options I'm overlooking?
