Hey guys,

I'm wondering if someone can help me out with a problem I'm having. Basically, I'm getting interference from something (even with just the e-mu tracker pre plugged in with no cable/mic). I've recorded and uploaded it so you can hear what I'm hearing:

I am trying to record with the External E-Mu 0202 and I am losing my mind. It has 3 connections on the back for input. All 3 of the input connections on the back only come thru one channel and are labeled as such. It's really crazy.

Has anyone had success is using Emu Emulator X3 with Sequoia 11? So far the Emulator X3 has been useless. Cool on its own but seems to cause issues with both Sonar and Sequoia.

I'm recording drum tracks over the next few weeks. It used to work fine, now one of my condenser mics likes to dip in power while recording. For example, the right comes through just fine with an even frequency, the left comes through, but the frequency drops in size/volume for a few seconds, then returns.

OK, I took the leap of faith and got a UA LA610. The reason I bought it is that it was half price- used- and I figure I can sell it if I don't see an improvement in my sound. Obviously I will see some improvement, but how much with just one component is a mystery. I record original tunes alone even though I am in a cover band, so one channel strip is enough for me.

I am recording with the PreSonus Firebox and it sounds decent. I am sort of coming to the conclusion that AD converters contribute more to a truly professional sound than a preamp or mic once you overcome a certain ultra budget level. Basically, the first component I might want to upgrade are my converters and then go from there. Emu coverters seem to be of a higher quality than the Firebox.

I've been waiting for this mother for close to a year now, had a PC configured just for the thing, am running two macs at present. Is the X3 available in
the states/ US . because it is not in the UK yet. Not even a 2009
