I'm looking for a headphone monitoring system needs good power to drive at least 2 headphones per channel with at least 4 channels with and insert on each channel. We have a B*@%$#ger that is a junk the amps are underpowered just when it gets to the right level it clips like hell. The jacks are terrible. To sum it up it is worthless to us and we need something much better. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have seen the sampson (which obviously B...ger copied)but I am worried that it would be of the same quality. I want something that will be bullet proof!

Check out the Furman HDS6. It works in conjunction with individual submixer modules (sold seperately) that will drive two sets of phones each. You can daisychain up to six modules, allowing for 12 sets of cans, and each module can create its own mix. There are four mono and one stereo (fx) channels, or you can use the fx channel for additional track signal.

HEAR music just came out with a headphone system. I went to check it out at the music store. The spl's are high without breaking up. As a matter of fact, I really liked accept for the fact that if you let the artist mess around with it and they don't know what they're doing, they may just blow their heads off with the volume and compressor controls.

Once I got the hang of it, it seems pretty cool.
