I was intrigued by the "Mic Construction" post, and that there are people out there that build their own mics. I was just thinking the other day about learning how to build my own speakers. Does anyone know where I can find information on building my own near field speakers?

Wilmslow sell kits and also individual drive units. They will also design speakers to your specifications. The kits start from 'basic', just the crossover, drive units and a CAD drawing of the cabinets up to fully finished models.

I've seen this
I've seen a bunch of sites offering kits, and plans and such. I never bookmarked any so I can't give a link, but just google studio monitor kits, or studio monitor construction. You might find something that way.
