Hello to all,
I'm planning on buying an US-428 from Tascam. It states that it can record 4 tracks simultaneously. Can anyone please confirm this?
One other issue is the inputs that I can use. The US-428 as 2 mic and 2 line/instrument inputs. Are this the 4 inputs that I can use separately? Like recording 2 mics and 2 guitars simultaneously and having the 4 separate tracks on the recording software?

I own the US-428 but I've never used it for more than 2 inputs at a time. I do know that you can activate all 4 but I never needed to. I will tell you that the latency of the US-428 sucks. The best I could ever get was 26 ms and I play VSTis all the time so it really kina blew. I love having the transport controls for Cubase though. It's almost worth it just for that.
