Im going to be inheriting a Powerbook G4, with a 1.3gig processor and 768 megs of ram. I plan on getting the M Box 2 with Pro Tools 7, and also using BFD drum software, should this computer be able to handle my recording needs? any suggestions?

G4 powerbooks usually only run a 4200 rpm hdd, if you add a firewire or usb 2.0 external drive for the audio files and let the o/s and p/t run from the internal drive you will get better performance.
p/t mbox is not necessarily the best choice for a daw either, unless you are familiar with it or want to use it because you are familiar/wish to do stuff with PT HD you might want to take a look at MOTU Digital Performer 5 or Logic Pro 7.
