Y'know Ive seen in stereo at a bar after a few too many in my younger days, but don't know where to buy a reasonable priced stereo bar for precise and repeatable mic placement . There seems to be no middle ground - either way expensive (DPA) or way cheap (atlas), any ideas?
Thanks
Tony

AEA [Audio Engineering Associates], Wes Dooley's company in Pasedena, CA makes a pretty bitchin' stereo bar... price wise it's less than the DPA, what the exact price is, I'm unsure. You can find them on the web at: [[url=http://[/URL]="http://www.wesdoole…"]Audio Engineering Associates[/]="http://www.wesdoole…"]Audio Engineering Associates[/]

Fletcher, Nathan,
Thanks for the good suggestions and yeah the Dooley bar looks very cool, a little pricey @ $245 for the 17" one to $395 for the 1.25m bar. although it does have all appropriate spacing & angles marked for ORTF, X/Y etc.
Much Obliged
