There's also: Presonus Firepod, MOTU 824, M-audio Delta 10LT, There are plenty of multi input cards out there. Some with built in pres and others without. Just a matter of finding one that works for you and is in your pricerange. Also, it gives you the option of working with something other than ProTools. If ProTools is necessary for you, the M-audio cards now support it.

You only get two inputs on the mbox, nothing will increase that, you could buy an external firewire preamp, but the PT software will only allow you 2 ins at a time, so it would be a waste of money.
my suggestion , get a 16 channel mixer, or some configuration and record the band live, and do the mix on the board, going straight out of the stero outputs of the board into pro tools ins.
thats really the only way you can do a live band "live" you cant multitrack separte instruments, unless you buy the bigger version (002) or you individually track 2 instruments at once.
what you could do is scratch tracks 2 (vox and accoustic) then get a board, and get the drums sounds on there, and record the drums stero in, then guitars, bass etc one at a time.
that could work
