Has anyone setup their studio with this IK media ARC.

My room has been treated from the design team from AURALEX, but only to treat half of what they suggested in the blue print. So my though was to compensate for the rest with this application, and my friend is giving it me to, so no monies wasted there. But in the future I sure would like to finish the treatment when funds allow.

Hi Steve, I'm using the even ps8's, and they are not translating well to me in the high end, when I go to burn a session to CD it's sounds really treblely. The room has been treated very well, but the highs are great when mixing, only when burning to Cd it changes really trebely.

Too much absorption. Not enough reflective surface. Sometimes it's better to invest in deflectors than absorption. Ideally you want to use both. I have issues with the same thing right now though I have a lot of reflective surface still exposed. My room has some issues that I'm still trying to sort out. I think I've narrowed it down though.

I haven't heard one bad review from the ARC, but it does mention to make sure you turn it off when bouncing down.
I don't personally put any faith in those types of applications.
I don't personally put any faith in those types of applications. Correcting modes in a room is a science in itself. The idea that a person could do any better with an app and eq is kind of ridiculous. IMHO.
