Pretty spammy response, Laurend.

To the OP: Why do you feel it necessary to make it super hot? What exactly are you defining as "high RMS"?

If you're exceeding -12dB, you're really going overboard, and it's no surprise that it doesn't "feel" energetic - you've crushed the energy right out of it.

Laurend; meaningless and very spammy post. Watch yourself here, we value real content that people can learn from and bounce off. Prove me wrong.

Scott, good post as ever.

OP - what are you using? Don't expect advice without telling us what equipment you are using, you make it very difficult for us to assist you.
