Can someone explaine what the differance between the Focusrite isa 428 and the red 1 are. I mean other than the price.
Can someone explaine what the differance between the Focusrite isa 428 and the red 1 are. I mean other than the price.
the isa 428 is a 4 channel mic pre with the option of 8 channels
the isa 428 is a 4 channel mic pre with the option of 8 channels of 192 kHz a/d converters on the back end and a plethora of other nice options (like instrument inputs, insert points and impedance matching) so you can connect it directly to protools (or any type of digital output option for that matter)

the red 1 is just a straight up 4 channel mic pre. A very good 4 channel mic pre mind you
