What do you mean by "stereo snare"? Are you going for an unusual effect like two distinctly different snare hits panned, or do you just want it to sound like it's more in a room, with a little reverb spread out, maybe?
Ideally, snare is mono, mixed dead center, or slightly to one side, like it is in the kit. If you have a stereo snare, how will you reconcile the rest of the kit?
Put the overheads in front of the dums. Then they "see" the under-side of the snare and you will get more spark in the recording.
See to that there is the same distance from one mic to the snare as the other mic to reduce fase trouble.
