So for the first time I am recording electro-drums via midi in PT8. I'm getting signal but no sound. Yeah I know it's probably a dumb i/o question but I liked to sleep through MIDI classes :) I have a midi track and a Aux Send... What to do? I am just wanting to record and use the drum module for the sounds NOT use a plugin for the drum sounds.

midi is not audio just data if you want the drum module for the

then you will need to hook up the audio stuff and record audio
either live as you do it
or
via a midi playout from the notes you already have
and then audio record
