Hello, all.
I'm Quike, a newcomer from Spain. Great community you have here!
I play with some friends (just fun) and we need a pair of monitors for our rehearsal place.
We have:
Always: Drums, acoustic&electric guitar, cello and vocals.
Sometimes: percussion, hurdy-gurdy, clarinet...
Gear: Behringer mixer (3248, 16 channels w/mic preamp), Marshall and Roland amps (around 65V), 2 SM57s, independent mic preamps.
We need monitors. We are considering B300 from Behringer or EON15 from JBL (not EON15G2, out of budget).
We plan to spend no more than 1000€ (1200$). We play for fun, and we need this gear for the rehearsal place and maybe for small gigs at pubs. 300W should be fine, I guess.
I don't know much about this kind of gear, so any help would be appreciated.
I've heard that B300 does not really give 300W, and distorts too much if pushed too loud. And I've also read that EON15 units are weak on high frequencies. BUT I DON'T KNOW!
So, any comment on self experience would be great!
(And sorry for my English...)

I would go with the JBLs ... I know you have a Behringer mixer and I don't mean to offend but generally Behringer = crap! After you use that mixer for a while you will understand why I said that.
Get the Eons ...
