Another vote for Canare/Neutrik from Markertek. The "Service Fee" per order kinda sucks, but if doing a large order, it is no biggie. If you only need one cable, Markertek's service fee is outright ridiculous...

Just make sure you order everyting in one big order, and you will save future service fees.

Later

Thanks for the help.
I couldn't hear the difference if my life depended on it likely. Just didn't want to feel like I'm cheaping out after spending tons on the rest.
Maybe it's like cars. We all know about Mercedes and BMW but a new Accord is pretty nice too.

"Monster Cable" is a good name too, but like Huub puts it, "How can we tell the difference, really?". We need to be dogs and cats to capture the difference between sound coming out a cheap cable and an expensive one :)

You could actually find out if you used a spectrum analysis software.
Just remember the rule of thumb for cables: the shorter the better (unless you'll be using balanced cables between your balanced source and target).

Best of luck!

And even then, the shorter the better. You still have issues like cable capacitance that increases with length.

I always tell people, if you want to hear what a good expensive cable will sound like without paying for it, so you can then decide if you think the difference is worth it, then make a 1' cable out of anything just for audition purposes. At that ultra-short distance, the cable is simply too short to cause any noticeable degredation, regardless of quality.
