I am new to using mixers and I'd like to have one in order to connect my guitar, a mic, and a CD player to my home stereo system.
I am trying to choose between:
- Soundcraft Compact 4
- Yamaha MG10/2
- Alesis Multimix 6FX
Do you have experience with any of these mixers and which one would you suggest?

Mixer design has come a long way in the past 15 years. Nowdays, most small mixers will deliver about the same level quality. You need to look at build quality and the features list to make the desicion.
