Has anyone had the opportunity to try out the MOTU 896 interace on a PC? I have heard about driver hasles and wanted to hear some other opinions.
Are there any other interfaces on the market that give you the same front panel control and 8 mic preamp's in one unit?

MOTU is much better suited to Mac. The Audio Desk feature, which
MOTU is much better suited to Mac. The Audio Desk feature, which is a big part of the system doesn't run on PC / Windows. Check the Aardvark Q10. Same kind of package but not firewire.
