First, Thanks for all that can help.

I have a $150 voucher for a UAD plug. I have a UAD card and currently own the Pultec, UAD Cambridge, 1176, LA-2A , Fairchild, Precision Limiter, Plate 140, Dreamverb and Realverb, and Precision EQ.

I currently mix a lot of rock (punk mostly) that needs to be loud and compressed well (I know everyone hates this, but it is what the clients want). I try not to over compress while mixing, to leave that for the mastering engineer, but often times I have to be the "mastering engineer" because the bands can't afford / don't want to afford going to a pro.

So essentially, without all the "make them go to a mastering engineer" comments, what UAD plug, if any, would you guys recommend to help my task to rough-master some things? If there aren't any good UAD mastering tools for my purpose, what other UAD Plugs would you recommend to enhance my UAD options.

I like the UAD precision limiter, but it definitely doesn't get the loudness that pop/rock/punk clients want. I usually have to bring in one of my free vst plugs to give me that.

I still haven't decided on the damn plug, I may have bailed on the mastering plug option because I really want either the SPL Transient Designer (I do a lot of punk where drums are HUGELY important), or one of the NEVE plugs. Not sure which one yet, but wanna decide by tonight...
