Hi, I'm looking for tips both in terms of singing techniques and recording singing itself (and effects on top of that too!)
Essentially, I am finding that when I record my vocals they tend to sit outside of the mix, and sound quite "thin" if that makes sense. They sound less thin on the parts when I'm singing quite a loud, strong vocal line. How can I thicken up the vocals, and make them sit more "in" the mix?
I am using Cubase LE, and the music I'm recording is mostly acoustic guitar, which I'm then putting the vocals over the top separately, and then planning to lay some various MIDI sounds on top of.
