I got better translation from the BX8's - Must be set up carefully and "burned in" also - Sound MUCH too tight in the lows right out of the box.

I absolutely love the KRK V4's...have a set with the S8 sub and have to say it's a brilliant system for a home studio..small, efficient and packs a good amount of sound for a small package!

You don't need the sub but it's worth it in the long run and the integration is seemless.
