Many apologies as a newbie to the forum.
I have a project that I need to get done quickly.
I am using Liquid Edition 6 for video and WaveLab for the sound.
Should I buy the Waves masters native bundle, or are there freeware programs that do a credible job.
I imagine that I need some kind of aural exciter and maybe an EQ. Any others? Links appreciated. The recorded sound is very good. I'm just looking for a little sizzle.

If it means anything, I gave up Waves in favor of the UAD collection.
I'm not a big plugin user, but if I had to, I could probably get by reasonably with the UAD stuff.
