Buy a Fender Twin, there made for each other. Or alternativly try the Line 6 Amps , they model a bunch of kinds of Amps, so you have all kinds of cool tone to play with. Depending on the type of music you doing, there the best, you can get rock tones, to country , to blues. The twin is a little more specific, but they got lots of push, and sound great.

The best thing to do here is tell you to try out many amps.

Don't go off of a person's reccomendation. Go off what sound you like.

I would personally reccomend a Hughes & Kettner. If you went with one of those you would spend a lot of money and might get a totally different sound than what you want.

I think line 6 are solid state amps. Solid state amps are easier to lug around than a tube amp but don't always have the sound you can get from a tube.

Moonloop:
There are soooo many different types of amps out there to choose from! Are you just STARTing out? If so, you may want to get a smaller amp that isn't so loud as to bother the neighbors. You might look at a Tech21 Trademark 10. It is very portable, very well built, very flexible (it will drive headphones instead of its built-in speaker so you don't bother others), and sounds awesome! Later on, if you want a bigger amp (they make those, too), the "10" makes a great "bedroom practice" amp. It really blows the other "budget" amps away. My Strats (I have several ) all sound great through that amp. I also own a room full of vintage tube amps, and the Trademark holds its own against them. It's the best solid-state amp out there!
