I may be getting a Mackie 1604 mixer. Should I put my Tascam 428 into one of the input channels or one of the subgroups? Also would a mixer like this allow me to add hardware effects to my VSTis without feedback?
hey, I have that exact set up myself at school. We bus all of our inputs to 1 / 2 dir. into the Tascam. Works well. Feed back's an issue if you want to send VSTI's to external fx and back again.
That's to say that I haven't figured out a way to do it yet myself but maybe someone else knows.
