Hi Norman.. Since it's a recording forum, that's one of the condition we felt was necessary to avoid many electronic music that was posted in the past.
But it's not just with a mic, if you recorded a real instrument, like a guitar through a Direct box or the instrument input of your interface, it's ok. You actually recorded something.

Where it doesn't fit is for those using ONLY samples, loops and virtual instruments..
