My Delta 44 is crackling and popping pretty bad and i cant seem to fix it, ive adjusted the latency and the sample rate but nothing seems to help.
My system is
ga-k8npro-sli
AMD Athlon 3700+ 64bit (running 32 bit windows xp w/ sp2) @ 2.21Ghz
1.00gb ram
I cant do much in Cubase without some kind of crackle or pop during playback and also when i load a standalone vst instrument i cant really play it without some kind of crackle etc..
any suggestions?

It is set up to use the m-audio aiso driver, i've used it before
It is set up to use the m-audio aiso driver, i've used it before on my old pentium and it worked great.... I'm beginning to think the problem lies in the nforce4 chipset but I dont know yet. I hope not or else that would be pretty lame.

Make sure Cubase is set up to use the ASIO drivers for the unit.
