I heard this thing at a MARs Music store before they went out of business. These two litte kids were singing Karaoke and sounded incredible, and on-key!
PROBLEM: I can't get the same warm - on key sound. How do you do it? Did I waste $499 ?

If that's the one that has Auto-Tune & Mic Modelling in it...then formthe warm part, flip through the presets untill you find one that does that (read: tube and not a big presence boost).
As for autotuning...if you can set the scale to chromatic it should be more forgiving and work with you rather tahn against you.
