Hello my friend!
I must your help !
Im interesting on new audio card for my home studio!
But, Im very confused !
There are a lot of good sound card and bad card !
2 years ago I bought the Focusrite Saffari 40 pro !
It's sound is very, but very very bad for me !
Mainly on his mic preamps!
Its have 8 preamp, but sound very thin loud and noisy!
On the half amount of gain its clipping !
As you know its firewire connection!
So, my question !
USB-Fiewire-PCI card!
Whats the best ?
Is it preferable To buy a sound card and separated unit if preamp?

Some people say to me that the best is Pci card that connect to external unit !
NB
I want a warm sound on mics
SO what you recommend to me ?
[h=1]What do you think about the MOTU 2408mk3?

Your sound is very very bad not because of the computer audio interface you purchased before. You're in Israel so perhaps reading the manual from left to right is a bit awkward? Because of our language barrier, you did not indicate what kind of microphone not best for you? Really, the microphone has more to do with your problem than the computer audio interface you currently have which has no problem. Of course improper microphone gain trim levels also sounds like one of your problems. If you can't set your gains properly you will feel like a depiction of Moses in a Mel Brooks film where Moses dropped one of the 15 Commandment tablets that smashed into pieces and so we had 10 Commandments. You have pads on the microphones for loud signal sources which may need to be engaged. Otherwise you just need to tweak your levels down by learning how to utilize your software and included applets correctly. I mean didn't you have a bar mitzvah?

Condenser microphones are not always the answer to a quality issue. Sometimes it's the lesser expenses more common items whose sound you are really looking for. And it really also depends on whether you meant not good for you as in your voice or recording of an instrument? But either way, you will achieve a much greater degree and element of warmth from a Shure SM58 with an additional foam pop filter on top of the metal ball. It's also a wonderful microphone to use on most any instrument or amplifier speaker cabinet. They are one of the most useful recording microphones of all times. And I would never BS an Israeli I mean you've got those Uzi guns.

I never got either mitzvah
