I don't get it?

Ya know, just changing the look of your plug-ins doesn't make them sound like the way they look. Although the placebo effect is known to work.

So what's the purpose of changing the skins? Some of my 1176's are black, others are brushed aluminum. I don't care.

It's like my friend who like the sound of his blackface LA-4's over my silver faced, LA-4's, even though, they were both electrically identical, internally. Go figure? There were no differences. The only differences that there were, were the age, of the electrolytic capacitors.

So this looks like nothing more than spam?

We think that appearance is important. Logically, the sound will not change, but it will change the atmosphere of our study. It's like people who personalize their operating systems. No change system functions, but a more user friendly environment for them.

We created VSTskins.com to support the minority community who wants to change the skins of their plugins. Anyway, what matters is the music :)

You're talking about bucket seats and Corinthian leather. Sure! I'll buy that for a dollar!

Of course everything we do in this creative field, is influenced by our surroundings. I personally don't need Cutesy Bootsy, for my software or their plug-ins. I need good visibility, no-nonsense, a straightforward, professional presentation. That's my only criteria. Which had nothing to do with Criteria, now the Hit Factory. But you understand? I'd rather be driving a Corvette instead of a 28-year-old, 30 foot, 16,000 pound, Motor Home. With the big vehicle, I don't have to worry about whether my toilet tank is empty enough for another load. With the Corvette, ya have to worry about where the next release station might be? Which is better? They're both creature comforts with different degrees of variability. Which is better?

You're serving the minority community? The ones that use menorahs? But that's only once a year. Non-traditionally you can choose a different colored candle every night? I think we used old unused birthday candles? Ya know... the ones that would relight, if you blew them out? It made it so much more Jewish. Like Jesus rising, all over again, night after night. Oy vey.

I'm the Jesus that came in, with a cold.
