I am thinking of investing in a Soundcraft M12 20 channel mixer to use with an Alesis HD24 for Mobile Recording. Has anyone used/owned one of these? I can't seem to find many reviews on it. Any info would be much appreiciated. :D

I used the M12 for quite some time. Overall I loved it. I just realized about a month ago that it was simply sitting in my studio collecting dust though, so I sold it for a song ($400 on ebay!).
For the money, the M12 is hard or even impossible to beat! It works GREAT with the HD24 (I used mine with my HD24 all the time several years ago.)
The pres are quite nice - full, warm and clear with plenty of headroom and the faders are actually quite nice - far more accurate and reliable than most other budget mixers.
The only thing I think contends with it today is the Mackie Onyx. I would seriously consider one of those as well if I were you. The prices aren't that disparate.
Enjoy...

They are great! I own one, use one, and love it. The new A&H MixWiz is a bit nicer and costs a bit more but the the M12 is great also! Great sounding pre, the EQ is real good also, it doesnt get all harsh and crappy when you boost.
Get one... or two,
