Can anyone recommend a good book as a crash course in mixing/editing?

This site is good for specifics, but I am looking for something to give me the basics, something to build on.
Modern Recording Techniques by David Miles Huber & Robert E. Runstein (fifth addition) seems to be pretty good and covers just about everything. I know they use it for text books at the Conservatory of Recording in Arizona. Here's a link to the book,
