I just bought one, can't figure out how to get the damn thing to work as an interface, I followed the instructions exactly included with the thing,
Here's the catch though,
I want to use BOTH of my audio interfaces, I have a Roland edirol UA-101, and the zoom R16, I want to use the zoom as the control surface and for more tracks...
So my initial question is;
Is this even possible?
and how the hell do you do It I have looked everywhere on google and cannot find an answer, I have the ASIO4all v2 drivers to.
If someone could possibly guide me through this that would be much appreciated.

I haven't found ASIO4All to be very stable so I haven't used it
I haven't found ASIO4All to be very stable so I haven't used it since it was very early in development. If it is to work, then both devices will have to be able to be accessed by A4A. At that point, you would set A4A as the ASIO driver in Cubase or Reaper or whatever you are using as a DAW program. Once all the inputs are activated in BOTH A4A and the DAW you should be able to assign them into individual channels/sticks/tracks.
Now both of those devices are fairly complex so I'm not sure if A4A is advanced enough to make either fully functional.

I'm thinking of turfing the Roland UA-101,
I really like it and wanted to essentially use the R16 mostly as a control surface rather than for recording (though having 8 extra inputs would be really nice) and continue to use my UA-101 as the base sound card for monitoring, its just more durable really.
Instead I'm going to just use the R16 as a lone interface, and route my other mixing board through it. so I will lose 2 tracks on the zoom R16 but whatever, I'm still gaining six tracks...
