Hey guys, I'm new here and this is my first post.
I'm just wondering if you guys have links to any good reads when it comes to recording's basics and principles.
I have done a few rough mixes before on a Fostex 4 track digital recorder. The sound often comes out very low and I have to boost the frequencies, which doesn't give me the best sound. How can I fix this?
I'm also going to be on a new setup soon. I have ordered a new Imac Quad core and I have just picked up an m-audio audiophile USB box. I will probably run Garageband for a while before I pick a new interface.
I play drums and I am having a lot of fun with synth work lately.
Let me know if you guys have any advice or any links on where to start reading.
