Hello,
I am a drummer who does his own recording. I have The DR-DRM7 7-Piece Drum Mic Kit, a ProFX12 Mixer, and Adobe Audition on my PC Laptop.
The ProFX12 Mixer has a USB output that I use to record, and the quality is pretty good.
The problem, is that Audition doesnt recognize all the different tracks, so it all goes on one. This make it a lot harder since I have to match all levels perfectly before recording. Does anyone know of a software that would work with the mixer and keep all tracks separate? I would love to get Logic9 but I cant afford a Mac.
Thanks in advance!

This is not an Audition problem. No other program is going to help you either. Your mixer is the problem. It will only send the main output (left and right) through the USB no matter what program you use. If you want individual tracks you need either a different mixer or stand alone converters being fed by direct outs. Direct outs that you don't have on the cheap mixers.
This is a home/beginner question by the way.
