this may sound lame, but would a wireless keyboard and mouse somehow affect the signal in recording? I mean, would I get any sort of interference or noise when recording from any of the 2? I was planning to get a pair... they look quite comfortable!

I was simply fed-up of changing batteries (mainly Saturday night..) or recharging the empty mice when they were badly needed.
They seem unsusable for fast gaming, as well...

It won't affect the recording interface or microphones. It may or may not cause crackle if used while recording. I had one that caused crackle and I have one that does not. The one that does not has a usb tranciever though honestly I haven't used it for initial recording-only mixing and finalizing.
