Hello,
A mixing/mastering technique we've all heard in recordings is to have 2 tracks of the same audio and slide it to give it that "dual sound." Whether its vocals or guitar, when its done tastefully, it sounds amazing!
I have been unable to master this technique, nor even get close to making it sound right. Is there a plugin that can do this? I've heard a rumor about a plugin that can do this technique pretty well?
If no, then can someone please give me some tips on how to do this technique, when to use it on what, etc? Thank you--

Yeah. Anytime you have a signal and a closely following delayed copy it produces comb filtering, which can be cool, but is usually not the type of sound most of us like to hear. Try doing two takes of the same line and panning them opposite ways. This is how to get the sound you're talking about.
The best way is to record two separate takes.
