Other than as an archive, I can't imagine the need for anything tape.

I started recording about 17years ago and I've never even heard of exabyte!! Sounds cool. Maybe it would look cool in a display case?

Trouble is, that post was in 2006. I wondered if any of that archive material was still out there on exabyte format and anyone wanting to read it might have a need for a tape drive.
