Im using Adobe Audition to record. and whenever I'm saving an audio file it gives me options of what format to save to. Im guessing i want to save to . WAV for the highest quality. But there are a few different types to choose from. What do i choose?

Often a warning pops up when i save and it says that I'm saving to a compressed (lossy) format and to make sure i back up the orginal file. How do i do this? How do i not compress at all?
