I agree with Tom.. But also..Ozone works great after you have mixed everything. Mix everything down to 2 tracks then apply the maximizer....

Ok, well I read the manual and I guess it was a little over my head, so basically I bounce the whole mix into two track and go from there.

If reading the manual is a little over your head then maybe you should not be trying to use this very powerful plugin in the first place.

But if you want to learn...Ozone is a very good all in one mastering processor. It is designed for two track mastering. The presets are a good starting place but you will find that they are not what most people use and only use the presets as starting points.

If it were me and I was learning a new program I would start with the presets. I would listen to what you are trying to master and basically find a preset that does what think you want to do to your music. ( all the presets have fairly descriptive titles) Then turn off all processors in that preset and slowly add in the processing listening carefully to what it is doing to your music. In Ozone this is very easy to do all you have to do is click on the processor buttons and the process will either be on or bypassed. When you find something you like then go in a modify the preset to suit what you are trying to accomplish. Make sure you save your new setup so you can refer back to it later. Give it a title that will make sense to you.

Realize that like most things that are worth doing this will take you some time. Don't rush. Be aware of what each of the processors is doing to your music and that maybe you don't need them all on. This is a very powerful plugin but it can get you into trouble very quickly if you don't know what you are doing. Start simply and build on your knowledge.
