Looking for entry level fig 8 mic. seen a few, didn't want to to spend a crap ton since recording budget is on the cheap these days.
Looking for most likely ldc fig 8, would do with sdc too, if there are options for those. not looking for ribbon fig 8 at this time.
budget 100-300 buckaroos.
primary application will be for drum ohs, drum room, and indie rock guitar amps.
I did some looking online before coming on here, wasn't really easy to search for just fig 8 mics, plus I'm most likely going to get a nice used name brand mic on ebay, and or buy an affordable budget brand new.
Thanks in advance.
i've sort of eyed the mxl 4000, nt2, and nt2000, studio projects i think has one, but i already have a c1, and I'd rather have different brand, for different flavor.

well I was Trollin round used mics on guitar center, might just get a used 414, or found a real cheap groove tubes gt57. I had a gt66 a few years back and I thought the quality was great, was the quietest mic I owned. so I'm going be pretty comfortable with this potential quality.
question though, should I use the same preamp for both mics? or would it be ok to use two different preamps. I always use the same preamps whn doing any type of stereo drum micing
