Hi All
I'm trying to get away from the old fashioned lyric sheet stand. .yes I know I shouldn't need one!
Anyway I use a straight mic (no boom) and all I can find are ipad mounts that are held to the side or between me and the mic stand which is too uncomfortable. I can't seem to find one that sits out front in a similar position to where a lyric stand would be. I'd prefer it if the mic stand was in between me and the ipad if that makes sense.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Two points of contact that rotate 360˚and a ball joint too. Have a look.
You could always go to a drum shop. A well-stocked drum shop will usually have every kind of clamp, boom, and offset arm under the sun. Clamp one end to your mic stand, clamp the other to the iPad mount.
Best of luck.
That's a good idea Dave, Heck, if they can make mic stand mountable ashtrays and beer can holders, ya just know they have to have something for an ipad that makes sense.
