Hello all. I have Cubase LE and jsut added a second video monitor. I can get the transport gui to the second monitor, but con't get the mixer or effects windows out of the first monitor. Any tips? Thanks, Barefoot. (it is HOT here in Ohio!) (I also have Reason 3.0 and can't seem to move much to she second monitor)

In SX you can right click on certain window whether it's a mixer or a channel send or plug-in or whatever and select "Always on Top". then you are able to drag them out of the Cubase main window onto your second monitor.
If that's not in LE, then Steinberg is a bit chincy with their features.

Cubase's main window is the parent for most other windows (except the transport). Resize the main project window to fit both monitors and resize within that. The arrange window can be minimized within that parent window. I think LE has window layouts as Nuendo and SX do. That's the best way to control window placement - save them to the project layouts as well as global (once you settle on layouts you want to use in other projects).
It isn't perfect, but it works well enough. Cubase/Nuendo use MS's windowing format, so for now we are stuck with this global window approach.
FYI - you can't snap/maximize the main project window with a minimized arrange window inside it - you have to stretch it.
