its probably real simple. i just got a Tascam US122 to record demos an things on my computer. i tried using Cubase using the VST, but i cant get it to use the effects in real time.. ive been looking for a simple button to hit. but i cant find it.

I'm not familiar with the Tascam US122 but if your soundcard has ASIO drivers you might want to make sure that the "direct monitoring" is turned off and also make sure that Cubase is setup for "Tape Machine" record/playback. Hope that helps.
