I use DP for midi and audio all the time and have for a couple of years now. I think that the main difference between the two is the interface. People swear by both. You really need to sit down with both and try to create a sequence with them before you pick one. Also, if you want to use VSTplug-insyou'll be fine with Logic but you'll need something like VST Wrapper or Spark for DP. Good luck in your search for a new DAW!

If you need an Audio-only Editor, DP will serve you well.
