Indeed... great song, great recording.

...and I agree with PC that the top end smear/swirl is soundcloud up to it's old skullduggery again.

Did I mention that I actually contacted them about it a few months ago, and they acknowledged that it ( and distortion too, ) have been problems in the past that has occurred in about 50% of their uploads - after conversion on their end?
So they actually admitted to being aware of the artifacts - apparently, they're just not willing to do much about it.

Tommy - instead of SC, you should consider posting your music using the upload file feature, located at the bottom right side of your post window. It supports MP3's up to 320kbps ;)

For awhile, if you remember, I thought there might be something wrong with Samp's MP3 encoder, in fact I think you're the one who brought that up, but in the end there wasn't a thing wrong with it. It was all SoundCloud.

Since Chris added the upload file feature and the resident audio file player, I haven't heard a single issue with any of the audio I've uploaded here.

It never ceases to amaze me that just browsing through the sites such as these always end up being nothing less than a pleasure to visit...

Today I have been spending a lot of time listening to as apposed to promoting, and this is probably one of the better productions I have heard today. Now I cannot notice the top end problem that you guys are mentioning but what stands out for me the most is the guitar play actually being allowed to express themselves without being too overly compressed, which seems to be becoming the norm of the day now...

And something else I was mentioning earlier today to another Muso, Its nice to hear the guitar play with space and air to breath to around and in the mix...

Beautiful, well done! And I love the Percussion and Piano together at the end...
Its been a pleasure listening to this...
Thankyou.

Consummately played and produced music here. Slick lead guitar, not sounding at all thin like some wah guitar can be. Steady crisply recorded drums, warm bass, subtly sweet keyboards, really all is as it should be here. Mature, tasteful, accomplished music, clever but never gratuitous, gently passionate, quite beautiful.
