right now i run Sony acid pro 6... i have an art pro mpa 2 tube preamp and a pro vla 2 tube compressor... rhode nt1a.. and a PreSonus audiobox interface.. I'm looking to get a couple more things to finish my recording studio for now... a a/d converter and a vocal effects processor which i already have an idea for one... a TC Helicon. what route should i go for an adc... i have NO PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE of these..

Your Presonus AudioBox already contains an A-D converter - why would you need another? Do you need more input channels than the two provided by the Presonus unit?
Which TC-Helicon product were you looking at? They have many that could be classed as vocal effects processors, and they have different facilities and I/O capabilities.
