Hello folks,

I read that Jeklin disk helps to make very nice and natural sounding recordings. Currently I am using MS technique with Mid--ribbon mic, and Side--U87. I record them on separate channels, and then, matrix after editing. To try Jeklins, I am considering of buying MK012 omnies from Sound Room, and modifying them with tubes inside.
I would like to know your opinion on:

1) Will it be worth trying Jeklins vs MS, esp. considering the mics I mentioned above.
2) How versatile are Jeklins compare to MS in term of compensation for the hall's imperfection of acoustics.

I record mostly classical piano in concert halls, and seeking for natural, homogenous sound of piano, and "airy" atmosphere of the hall. Usually, I spend at least 3-4 hours before session starts, to find the best mic position.
