Hi,

I have been following this forum for quite a while and I really enjoy reading these discussions here. You guys are fantastic. Keep up the good work. This is my first post here. So please bear with me. I am planning to start a new 5.1 DTS mixing studio on a small to medium budget. I will be working on independent films in this studio. I intend to use Nuendo 5 as the workstation as I already have this. I also intend to buy euphonix artist series control surface. The rest I am undecided yet. So it would be useful if you guys can help me with some good suggestions. The room would be around 800 to 1000 sqft at the max. I am looking into the JBL LSR4326 5.1 mix pack. Now to mix DTS movies do I need a DTS encoder and decoder. I know it will be useful to have it in the monitoring chain. But is that an absolute must or can i do it without that? Is anybody here using the LSR 4326 5.1 mix pack? If so Please let me know how it sounds. Does the JBL LSR4326 5.1 mix pack comes with a monitor management system? If not what would be a budget monitor management system? Also please suggest me some decent audio interfaces for this application. I would really appreciate some help on these guys.

Thank you,

Vijay
