Im trying to set up my DAW for the best possible use. .
I've had dropouts, wrong setting, different set backs here and there. I just need someone who uses Sonar 3 and the MOTU 828 mk2 interface. I need some advice on how to set up my daw correctly and efficiently. I've been reading the manual for Sonar and it give me some understanding but ? I'm trying to find out things like (which clock I should be using. the one in my MOTU or the one in Sonar. Which driver mode should I use MME,WDM, The default which I don't know what the heck is? I just found out that I had to go into my AUD folder in Sonar just to input a 1 in place of the 0, just to get 24 bit to work (Use24BitExtensible= 1)

Any help will do. I just need to know how some of you hook up your systems
